According to legend, the Land of Ooo arose 9000 years after the catastrophic Great Mushroom War nearly obliterated Earth, wiping out most of the human race. However, righteous visitors rarely complain of a post-apocalyptic vibe during their travels through the world’s diverse kingdoms. The Candy Kingdom, one of the largest empires of Ooo, has prospered under the benevolent rule of inventor-scientist Princess Bubblegum and the flippin’ algebraic heroism of Jake the Dog and Finn the Human. Travelers may be tempted to nibble on the kingdom’s cotton candy trees, butterscotch river, or chocolate dirt. However, take special precautions not to indulge your sweet tooth with one of Princess Bubblegum’s subjects, the Candy People.
Beyond the Candy Kingdom, adventurers will find no shortage of opportunities to slay monsters of both scaly and feathered varieties, befriend bearded wizards, and explore dark forests and even darker swamps. Spend a night rocking out with Vampire Queen Marceline in her cave. Or show off your slick tricks on the slopes of the Ice Kingdom with one of the Ice King’s own penguin snowboards.
With your trusty Neutral Ground map tucked in your backpack and a snail to keep you company, you won’t have any trouble navigating the rolling hills of Ooo and making the most of your own Adventure Time.
Cautionary wisdom for first-time human tourists: Be wary when interacting with rainicorns. Though they are generally peace-loving creatures, they consider humans a rare delicacy.
Our Woodlands: Ooo map is made in collaboration with Lizzi O'Rear, a flippin’ righteous illustrator based in Texas.
These totally mathematical maps are etched on maple ply hand-selected by the Cosmic Owl. They measure 18-1/2" wide by 14" tall. No tree forts or tree people were harmed in the making of this product.
Includes a keyhole slot on the rear for hanging.
Lizzi O'Rear is a freelance Illustrator and Graphic Designer born and raised in Texas, who later ventured from her homeland to study Illustration in Baltimore. Somehow she made it back home, where she now works by day and draws by night. She loves to create art that is colorful and fun, and hopes that her work brings a smile to the viewer's face. When she's not drawing, she's probably playing video games or looking at photos of pandas.
